With a captivating stage presence that invites viewers in, my work explores deep emotions through world-building movement, incorporating elements of aerial arts, dance, and physical theatre.
I began my circus training in 2013. As a former competitive gymnast with a degree in fine arts, my approach blends physical expression with artistic design and intention that results in one goal: palpable connection. For me, a piece is never about what I am doing; it’s about how I am moving. With over a decade of creation and performing experience, I feel at home on any apparatus spinning through the air, including aerial sling, silks, dance trapeze, and your average desk chair (yes, I’ve done that!).
I am a co-owner at Bird’s Eye View Circus, where I’m a featured performer, create original narrative shows with my partners, and have the pleasure of nurturing a community of blossoming circus students. Through my work with coaching and choreography, I have developed methods for mining authentic, unique movement and often guide performers on practices to jumpstart their creativity.
Based out of Toledo, Ohio, I live in and am renovating a nearly 140-year old historic home with my partner, Steven, and our yorkie, Papi.
